The glass is half full.
That's what I'm going to tell myself. It's official that 24 will premiere in January 2005 now and move to Monday nights. Below is an excerpt from a Zap2it article:
FOX aims to bring stability back to "24" next year. The series won't return until January, when it moves into a new time period on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET. The show will get a two-hour premiere and a two-hour finale. FOX Entertainment President Gail Berman also promises a two-hour special event episode in the middle of the season. The three instances of doubling down will allow "24" to reach its conclusion by the end of the May sweeps period.
Now, I can totally dig a two hour premiere and finale (or 'Fin-all' - hehehe) and now I'm all curious about a special event episode. Wonder what that will be. I've read quite a bit about the logic of FOX's decision regarding the show, and I hate to say that it sounds pretty good. I'm just worried about the Monday night move. But hell I'd watch the show on Saturday mornings if I had to :)
Anyway, that's that and I'll just have to deal with waiting eight months for a new day in Jack's life. I'm sure any Soprano fans out there are thinking 'oh quit your bitching, we waited much longer than that.' and you'll get your wish. No more bitching from me :)
Recap, still working on. Many appy-loggies for the delay. I've been working on it sporadically whilst setting up a new forum for the Kiefer-fanatics out there. If you want to check it out, please do! It's empty right now because I haven't told many people about it, and just sort of 'released' it today. But the major work on it is complete barring some minor tweaks. It's located on my own server so it's ad-free :) Enjoy and check back later to see if I've managed to finish writing the recap.
