Chloe f'ing rocks

Heheh. Great Ep tonight. It feels like the pace has quickened after what I can only assume were 'filler' episodes to move us along to this point.
I want to smack Audrey around right after I bitchslap weenyboy do-not-wannabe President Logan. HOW COULD HE BE SUCH A TWAT??? Argh.
I'm also still wondering how Novick managed to snake his way back into high-poweredness. And why's Palmer being so nice to him? (Oh yes, The D-man is back baby!)
Let's see. Marwan's tirade. It seemed trite. I suppose it's meant to be retribution for the times 24-land is set in which I'm guessing mirror reality, with the war and all. I think. I don't know. I don't quite know, in 24-land, why Marwan's so pissy with the US if America isn't also warring with the Mideast in the 24-verse. Oh well. It just seems cliche. I don't quite know what to make of it other than Marwan's good at making a getaway.
Apart from Palmer being back and ensuring our nation is in Good Hands (Ha! I've been looking for a way to use the Allstate humour), Chloe kicked fucking ass tonight. Nerd knows her weapons! I liked the geek-sparring with Edgar and her cocky, "I know" answer when Edgar admitted her higher state of geekiness. Too cool.
And Jack. Ohhhh Jack. Will they never learn? It should be stated in the protocols of CTU that when Jack's on the case, the protocol book goes out the window. It would really save a lot of time. But kudos to Buchannon for not getting all Chappellian and defending Jack's actions for a change. Good boy.
Wonderful wonderful episode. Had us shouting at the screen and I frightened the cat when Palmer came onscreen. I have the clawmarks on my thigh to prove it.
If you're wondering where the hell the recaps are, I have them sitting in my email right now and I will get them up asap. I also have the FINAL TRANSCRIPTS FOR SEASON ONE. I just have to run them through spellchecker (No offense Dan but I'm a grammar/spelling Nazi.)
