Moving to NBC?
I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I don't know what to make of the rumours that NBC is making a play to nab the rights or whatever to 24. According to a few TV news sites, 24's contract with FOX is up after this season and NBC wants it bad.
Now, I don't know whether to believe that or not because the rags usually play up and over-hype stories like this just like they do when they're reporting gossip (ie. "Jennifer Aniston desperately wanted a child with Brad." The celeb in questions always "desperately" wants something as if having a successful careeer and oodles of moula didn't ease the desperation just a titch. I'm tired of reading headlines like that when I'm skimming entertainment news.)
I can't imagine FOX giving up one of it's highly successful shows and this season of 24 has given the show some of its highest ratings ever which translates into more money for FOX to create idiotic shows like "The Simple Life."
