Puppydog eyes.
Now THAT is the angst I know and love from my show. What an incredible final five minutes in this hour. Jack's so far over the edge he's fallen off the cliff and about to splat on the valley far below. His one-track mind is a lot like Chloe's actually in a non-geek way. All Jack can do is focus on saving millions of lives even at the cost of his own personal life. Chloe has to "process" the fact that she killed someone later because she's got work to do. Focus...
The look on his face when Paul died and he had to face Audrey just about killed me.
*sigh* Man that was harsh and good and exciting and heartbreaking and gutwrenching and amazing. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!
Speaking of Chloe again have I mentioned, ever, that I fucking love her? I'm so glad to hear that she'll be back as a regular next season. And if I have to suffer 24 without my Jack as the customary obligatory rumours imply, I know I'll still watch, if just for her. She's my favourite geek.
I loved that Jack took a sec to make sure Chloe was ok. He does care, he really does. Unless it's someone he's in love with then he'll be sure to screw it up by doing his job.
I don't think I'm making much sense tonight. That last five minutes really rocked my brain and I'm having trouble recalling the rest of the hour. Though I just realised it was Marwan-free apart from the tape they reconstructed.
Okay it's coming back to me now. Palmer... yeah so good to see palmer back in action, even if the way they brought him back was a bit of a stretch. I'll buy it though because I'm not a nitpicky fan :) (No offense to uber-nitpickers mind you, please don't hate me.) And it was so Palmer to forgive Mike Novick for screwing him over. he knows there are bigger problems at hand. *must.. not.. re-use... Allstate joke*
The raid on the Chinese consulate was cool. Ski-mask Jack again :) Kinda sexy that. Shame Ku Yin was killed by one of his own guards. Dumbass.
And so Michelle knows Tony's got a live-in lover. That was a good moment between them. Fairly intense and I think it's laying the groundwork for them to get back together. They're perfect together and Michelle just needs to watch tony working some more to realize she wants him back. I'm sure of it.
Anyway, fecking great stuff tonight. Only 3 episode left though, that just sucks.
