    Request

I know a lot of you don't mind spoilers and stuff but I do. I hate them. I don't want to know what's going to happen. I purposely change the channel when the show's over so I can avoid the, "Next week on 24" promos. I jam my fingers in my hear and sing, "La la la la la la la" whenever an ad for the show comes on.

So could I please request that if you're going to comment on the promos for upcoming shows in my comments can you give a little warning so I can look away before I'm spoiled? That would be awesome guys, thank ya. Just put a big 'MELIA LOOK AWAY RIGHT NOW' before you discuss spoilers and I'd be a happy camper. Thanks!

Calling all Melia fans, calling all Melia fans! Come join together immediately to put a protective shield around our endearingly captivating hostess, let us join hands, forming a circle . . . Melia, please stand there in the middle . . . thank you. Wow, you're not only a gifted writer, you're pretty hot. Please turn around so we all have equal time admiring you as we appreciatively bow and vow and bow wow in unison never to allow the poisonous substance of future-outcome guessing to seep out any of our stink'n air vents to pass over our respected leader.

It'll be our most difficult challenge, not guessing aloud in this forum, for aside from the inspiringly taunting promos, which to date never reveal what actually will happen (has any promo ever hinted at the tragic demise of Edgar, Palmer, Michelle, etc.?) those masterful 24-writers continue to bait us throughout the hour-long shows themselves, leaving us on the edge of our seats filled with expectant questions. The pox on those dastardly writers causing our heads to spin during the week wondering in eager anticipation as they cast out all kinds of suspenseful hooks . . . those sleazy though masterful baiting hookers.

It'll will require the utmost discipline, immense restraint, steadfast courage, yet an honor to do so for the sake of our brilliantly worthy guide; therefore, let me be first to step forward to pledge my allegiance in this new endeavor: Never will I again comment on a promo for an upcoming show.

    Altogether now:

    NO NO
    PROMO
    SHOW

    NO NO
    PROMO
    SHOW

Veddy amusing MES :) Although I beg to differ in that I didn't say "don't post promo info," I just ask for a little warning so that I might flee with my fingers jammed in my ... well I guess my eyes in this case. Ow.

I am the same way. Matter of fact, my husband laughts at me when the commercial comes on. He then tells me stories of pink bunnies that are shooting eachother while torturing the cute bunny. Anyway, I can totally relate!! Thanks for the request, I will benefit too!!
