Holy Sh**!
Wow wow wow.. Ok that episode was worth the hype even though the events leading up to it sort of gave away what Marwan was up to. Action-packed epi tonight man!
Even Jack's impassioned pleas to Mitch Anderson couldn't save Keeler. Bet they were wishing they'd installed that handy escape pod from "Air Force One" eh? To be honest though, I feel like the whole 'shooting the president out of the sky' thing lacked the oomph that it could have had. I didn't care enough about Keeler, especially remembering that he was willing to blackmail Palmer to become president. And he's spent the entire season so far being stiff and pompous. I felt worse about the hawt son being on board the plane than I did about Keeler.
Makes me wonder how I'd feel if the scenario played out IRL and Bush was blown out of the sky aboard Air Force One. I don't care for Bush so I don't think I'd be grieving or anything, other than feeling bad for his family etc. (P.S. Secret Service if you read this, I am not plotting to shoot Bush out of the sky. I'm just comparing scenarios ;) )
Anyway, yeah I'd be in tears and oh-so-emotional if Palmer had been shot down. I cared about him.
But still, it was a fookin' excellent-ass episode tonight. Definitely worthy of repeating later in the week.
I think Audrey's going back to be Paul's caretaker as he struggles to walk again. Jack's history. Stupid girl. Paul's rich and will find someone else/can hire a nurse. Yes, yes he did a brave thing by saving Jack and *applause* for him and all that. But if he hadn't been such a dolt in the first place he wouldn't have even been in L.A. to take the bullet and Jack probably would have just been grazed by the bullet. Audrey's too wussy to handle a man like Jack.
Chloe and Edgar. Can't decide if Edgar has a crush because Chloe's being so awkwardly nice all of the sudden. Hmmm...
Tony and Michelle. Argh. Argh argh argh. Can Tony win her back now she's shaggin' that silver fox? Hope so because Tony without Michelle is like peanut butter without jelly.
*sigh* Can't wait for next week! Hope to have a recap for you sometime this week from one or both of my guys.
Finally, in other news, 24 is (finally) releasing a video game for the playstation ( Grrr, must now buy a %^!@ Playstation??? Argh.) that features castmembers such as Kiefer, Carlos among others (Haysbert? Can't remember) that looks pretty darn cool. Google around because there are a load of articles about it floating around.
Roll on next week!
